National Night Out Returns To Roswell
Residents will be able to greet police officers and explore public safety vehicles at the event set for Tuesday, Aug. 2.

ROSWELL, GA -- The Roswell Police Department, along with Target stores in the city, is inviting residents to attend its annual National Night Out celebration.
Roswell's event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 on the grounds at Roswell City Hall.
The free event will include a slew of activities, including a train for kids to ride on, rock climbing wall, kids SWAT obstacle course, games, local vendors and a chance to win prizes.

Come hungry because Target will have plenty of food and drinks for you to nibble on.
Of course, you will have a chance to see the inner workings of some of the city's public safety vehicles. Vehicles and equipment from the Roswell Police Department, Roswell Fire Department, National Park Service, North Fulton SWAT and other agencies will be available for people to explore.

For the dog lovers, don't forget to stop by and greet the police department's K-9's who will be on hand.
National Night Out is designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
