New Business Brings Whole Body Cryotherapy To Roswell Residents

Chill & Body has opened its first retail location, which will offer cutting edge whole body cryotherapy treatment.

The company is located in historic downtown Roswell at 1137 Canton Street.

A relatively new form of treatment in the U.S., cryotherapy is a safe and non-invasive process in which the body is briefly exposed to very cold temperatures in order to promote inflammation reduction, muscle recovery and other health and wellness related goals. Chill & Body will feature the next generation of whole body cryotherapy for Roswell residents with a cryotherapy chamber engineered and manufactured in metro Atlanta by Impact Cryotherapy.

The Chill & Body concept improves upon the traditional ice bath method for reducing swelling and inflammation. With a colder, faster treatment using a controlled nitrogen mist to significantly reduce body temperature for 2 to 3 minutes, visitors walk away dry, refreshed and with reduced muscle and joint soreness.

Athletes from the professional and college levels to amateur fitness enthusiasts use Whole Body Cryotherapy in their training regimens to recover faster from workouts and train harder. Other clients use the therapy for relief of arthritis conditions, boosting metabolism, increasing energy levels and skin rejuvenation.

Chill & Body will also offer another form of treatment, The NormaTec Recovery System, which uses external compression and Sequential Pulse Technology to maximize performance recovery combining three distinctive massage techniques to speed the body’s normal recovery process.

Chill & Body is operated by Atlanta-based MMRC Group, Inc., made up of local business owners and entrepreneurs. As amateur athletes and fitness enthusiasts, they saw a major opportunity to fill a void in the Atlanta marketplace for the Cryotherapy concept.

“Once we tried the treatment ourselves, we became believers in this form of Cryotherapy that is currently successful in Texas, Arizona, and Southern California.” said John Monnett, a spokesperson for Chill & Body Studio. “We feel Atlanta residents will benefit from this innovative therapy and with plans to open additional Chill & Body locations at The Forum Athletic Club in Buckhead among others, Atlantans no longer have to be professional athletes to have affordable access to Whole Body Cryotherapy.”

Appointments can be made via phone or through the Chill & Body’s website. Walk-ins are welcome. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
