Lane will bring her mix of music to audiences at 8 p.m. Oct. 23.

For her hotly anticipated sophomore album, the Greenville, South Carolina, native-turned-Nashville-songstress teamed up with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys for a record that turns the vulnerable singer-songwriter stereotype on its ears.

With songs that crucify ex-boyfriends, celebrate one-night stands (as long as she can bolt town right after) and proclaim that it’s “always the right time to do the wrong thing,” Lane comes across like a modern-era Wanda Jackson, albeit with more oats to sow.

“My songs always paint a pretty clear picture of what’s been going on in my life, so this is one moody record,” Lane said. “There’s lots of talk of misbehaving and moving on.”

Tickets are general admission at $35 for orchestra seats and $30 for balcony seats. Mac McGee’s in Roswell will have food and drinks available for purchase before the show.

Special discounts for youth, senior citizens, and military are available by purchasing in-person or calling (770) 594-6232. Doors open to the lobby at 7 p.m. and to the theatre at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to Nikki Lane, the remainder of the LIVE! in Roswell 2015-2016 season lineup includes:

Saturday, Dec. 19: MPACT
What could be more perfect than M-PACT for the holidays? As seen in the PBS “Christmas from LA” special, the warmth and elegance of M-PACT pairs perfectly with an evening of holiday favorites. You can’t help but get in the holiday spirit as the guys perform selections from their award-winning Christmas album, “The Carol Commission.”

Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016: The Blind Boys of Alabama
The Blind Boys are recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. Celebrated by The National Endowment for the Arts and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) with Lifetime Achievement Awards, inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and winners of five GRAMMY Awards, they have attained the highest levels of achievement. The Blind Boys are known for crossing multiple musical boundaries with their remarkable interpretations of everything from traditional gospel favorites to contemporary spiritual material by songwriters such as Ben Harper, Eric Clapton, Prince and Tom Waits. They have appeared on recordings with Bonnie Raitt, Tom Waits, k.d. lang, Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Willie Nelson, Susan Tedeschi, Solomon Burke, Aaron Neville, Ben Harper and most recently Justin Vernon, Patty Griffin, Merrill Garbus and Sam Amidon on their latest recording I’ll Find A Way. The Blind Boys of Alabama have made appearances on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, The Grammy® Awards, 60 Minutes, The Colbert Report and their own holiday special on PBS.

Saturday, May 7, 2016: Hooking Up with The Second City
The Second City knows a few things about love - they’ve been laughing about relationships for over 55 years. Hooking Up with The Second City makes mirth out of missed connections, girls’ night out adventures, and all the crazy things we do for love. This gaspingly funny revue is a modern mix of romance, rancor and everything in between.

Saturday, June 11, 2016: Edwin McCain
Edwin McCain’s voice is everywhere. At any given moment, a radio station is playing one of his songs. An American Idol hopeful is belting out “I’ll Be.” A newlywed couple is dancing to “I Could Not Ask for More.” McCain’s innate ability to write and perform songs that somehow every listener claims as their own has made him one of the most enduring and downright likeable entertainers of our generation.

Tickets for all shows are available at www.roswellcac.com. The Roswell Cultural Arts Center is located at 950 Forrest Street, Roswell. For more information, visitwww.roswellcac.com or call (770) 594-6232.
