Organizers Prepare For Annual Bulloch Hall Quilt Show

ROSWELL, GA -- The movers and shakers behind the Bulloch Hall Quilt Guild are gearing up for their 34th Great American Cover-Up Quilt Show.

The show will be held March 4-13 at Bulloch Hall, and will feature roughly 200 quilts made by local artists and displayed throughout the antebellum home.

A special exhibit by fiber artist Christine Cetrulo of Lexington, Kentucky, will be on display all 10 days, with a “Meet the Artist” party at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13.

The show will also feature quilts made by guild member Diane Knott, whose book, ”Scrap Quilt Secrets,” has been published by C&T Publishing.

A wine and cheese reception to meet and greet Knott and celebrate the launch of her new book will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 6.

The cost to attend the meet and greet is $10, and residents can RSVP to the reception by calling 770-992-1731.

Quilt Guild Co-chairs Sharyl Dawes and Bobette Robinson have organized the event that has become a March tradition in North Fulton County and attracts visitors from across the country.

This display of lovely quilts in a historic home provides a warmth and ambiance unique from other area quilt shows. The Bulloch Hall gift shop will be selling small items made by BHQG artists and several quilts displayed in the show will be available for purchase.

Quilt show hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for children 6 to 18 and free for children 6 and under.
