Police: Brothers Kidnapped Cousin From Roswell Parking Lot

Raul De La Luz was arrested on kidnapping and aggravated assault charges while his brother Alejandro remains at large.

Roswell police have charged one of two brothers with kidnapping their cousin from Roswell, and detectives are currently looking for the other suspect involved in the case.

Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said the agency has charged Raul De La Luz, 27, of Cumming with kidnapping and aggravated assault for allegedly kidnapping his cousin from a parking in the city around 4:30 a.m. Nov. 14.

His brother, Alejandro De La Luz-Ramos, remains at large and is wanted by police on the same charges, Holland said.

Holland said the incident occurred after a domestic dispute, and it was later determined the trio were related. The victim was later discovered in the parking lot of Preston Point Apartments off Windmere Parkway in Forsyth County around 7 a.m. the same day, according to Access North Georgia.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Northside Hospital-Forsyth. Anyone with information is asked to call Roswell police at (770) 640-4100.
