Officers responded to a call at a home on Annie Cook Way around midnight June 18. Annie Cook Way sits off Houze Road/S.R. 140, south of Hembree Road.

Two men, dressed in all-black clothing, “surprised the residents by forcing entry into the home from the back door,” Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said.

Holland said one of the suspects allegedly kidnapped one victim at gunpoint and forced her to drive to an ATM while the other suspect waited at home with the woman’s husband and two children.

“Because banks restrict the amount of cash you can withdraw from an ATM, the victim only was able to get a limited amount of money during the transaction,” Holland added.

The victim and the suspect returned back to the house, and the two men fled the scene. The victims were not harmed.

Holland said police have no other description on the suspects or what method of transportation they used to leave the house.
