A man allegedly grabbed a 56-year-old woman ”as she was walking southbound on Warsaw Road,” said Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland.
“The male grabbed her from behind, forced her to the woods and threatened her with a gun,” she said. “The suspect fled from the scene on foot. The victim did not see her attacker’s face and only could provide a vague description of the suspect.”

The alleged attacker — who Holland said spoke Spanish — is described as possibly a Hispanic man between 5’9’’ and 5’11’’ and weighs between 170 and 200 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a grey hoodie, which covered his face, during the time of the incident, Holland stated.
Roswell police are asking anyone in the area of Holcomb Bridge Road at Warsaw Road around the time of the attack to contact Detective Dana DeWeese at (770) 640-4100.
“Any information, no matter how small, may be useful to tracking down the suspect,” Holland said.
