Recycle Hazardous Household Waste On Feb. 25 In Roswell
The city's event, which is for Roswell residents only, will be held at its Public Works and Transportation facilities on Hembree Road.

ROSWELL, GA -- On Saturday, the city of Roswell will host its Household Hazardous Waste Collection event for citizens looking for a way to dispose of these items.
The event, which is for Roswell residents only, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. Feb. 25 at the city's Public Works and Transportation facilities at 1810 Hembree Road.
This event will not be held at the Roswell Recycling Center.

Items that will accepted by organizers during the collection include:
- Paint thinner/turpentine
- Pesticides including: fertilizers, herbicides, flea and tick products, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides
- Undiluted pool chemicals
- Household cleaners
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Propane gas cylinders
- Mercury thermometers/thermostats
- Household batteries (non-rechargeable)
- Aerosols including aerosol paint
- Automotive brake fluid/used motor oil filters (no other automotive fluids)
You should also note that latex paint or any oil-based paint will not be accepted; those items can be dropped off at the Recycling Center. The CARE Environmental Corporation will be handling and disposing of the materials, which cannot be dropped off prior to the event.
