Recycle Household Hazardous Waste On June 10 In Roswell
The city of Roswell will host its event Saturday at its Public Works/Transportation/Fire facilities at 1810 Hembree Road.

ROSWELL, GA -- If you are among the scores of procrastinators who have yet to start your spring cleaning ritual, the city of Roswell will provide you with a unique opportunity to embark on that task.
The city will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 10 at its Public Works/Transportation/Fire facilities.
The event is for Roswell residents only; no commercial entities will be allowed to participate. Residents can drop off various items at 1810 Hembree Road, including:

- Paint thinner/turpentine
- Pesticides including: fertilizers, herbicides, flea and tick products, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides
- Undiluted pool chemicals
- Household cleaners
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Propane gas cylinders
- Mercury thermometers/thermostats
- Household batteries (non-rechargeable)
- Aerosols including aerosol paint
- Automotive brake fluid/used motor oil filters (no other automotive fluids)
No latex or oil-based paint will be accepted, as residents can drop off those items at the Roswell Recycling Center.
