Registration Opens July 24 For Roswell Fall Recreation Programs
Among the highlights for the upcoming season is that the Roswell Adult Aquatics Center is now open to participants age 25 and older.

ROSWELL, GA -- The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department will offer a multitude of great programs and classes, from athletics to the arts, and from aquatics to adaptive programs, this fall and winter.
Resident registration for these programs begins at 9 a.m. Monday, July 24, and open registration begins 9 a.m. Monday, July 31.
Registration will be available 24 hours a day at www.roswellgov.com/registration. In-person registration will also be available, starting on the days noted above, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at Roswell City Hall, which is at 38 Hill Street. Among the highlights of the upcoming season is that the Roswell Adult Aquatics Center is now open to participants age 25 and older. Previously, the Center was reserved for participants age 50 and older, but the change will allow opportunities for adults of all ability levels within this expanded age range to experience the five-lane warm-water therapeutic swimming pool that is the centerpiece of the state-of-the-art facility opened in 2016. The Center will now feature extended evening hours on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, as well as new evening fitness classes.
The fall/winter brochure also lists upcoming special events at the city’s many artistic, cultural, and historic facilities, including the five-part “Makers in the Afternoon” series, free Riverside Sounds concerts, Halloween and December holiday events, and festivals, parades, and races.
