Reindeer Day Returns To Chattahoochee Nature Center

ROSWELL, GA -- Chattahoochee Nature Center will host its most popular installment of its Family Fun Days series when its 6th annual Reindeer Day returns on Sunday.

Sponsored by Northside Hospital, the year’s lineup includes a full day of holiday-themed activities the entire family can enjoy.

The schedule for the Dec. 11 event is as follows:

• Noon to 3 p.m.: live reindeer
• Noon to 3:30 p.m.: yoga with Roswell Yoga Life
• Noon to 4 p.m.: crafts, face painting, reindeer games, hot cocoa and holiday family photos
• 1 p.m.: guided hike
• 1:30 p.m.: story time with Miss Julia
• 2 p.m.: Creature Feature
• 3:30 p.m.: story time and book signing with Rosalind Bunn
• 4 p.m.: Animal Encounter

Shuttle buses will be running from St. Francis School at 9375 Willeo Road to the Nature Center located at 9135 Willeo Road. Attendees are encouraged to carpool to the event.

Residents should also note there is no ATM available on site. The cost to take part in this installment of Family Fun Day is included in general admission to CNC. Of course, Chattahoochee Nature Center members will be admitted for free.
