The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness conducted food service inspections April 18-25 at the following establishments:

• Observed equipment and utensils not washed, rinsed and sanitized in the correct order in three-compartment sink. Wash all dishes using the proper procedure of wash, rinse and sanitize.
• No handwashing sign provided at a hand sink used by food employees. Provide a hand washing sign at all hand sink.
• Observed failure to have test strips for Quat sanitizer. Must have on site.
• Observed build-up of food debris, dust or dirt on non-food-contact surface. Clean throughout the kitchen including hood.
• Outer openings not protected with self-closing doors. Close back door at all times.

• Observed food service employee handle pest control device (fly trap) and then attempted to continue prepping food. Inspector intervened and informed employee that hands must be washed before returning to work. Employee refused to wash hands and changed gloves instead. CA: Hands must be washed after engaging in any activity which could potentially contaminate hands.
• Observed failure to have soap and paper towels at main kitchen hand sink. CA: All hand sinks must be stocked with soap and paper towels.
• Observed failure to adhere to a consistent date marking procedure for food items held in reach-in cooler. CA: Any fully cooked/ready-to-eat food that has been held for over 24 hours must have a date marking.
• Observed hand sink at front food service area being used to stored soiled dishes. CA: Equipment must be used for its intended purpose only.
• Observed sink designated for vegetable prep being used to store soiled dishes. CA: Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose.
• A follow-up inspection will be held on May 7.
