River Eves To Host Open House For Rising Kindergarten Students

ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell's River Eves Elementary School invites rising kindergarten students, their families and child care providers to its Annual Kindergarten Roundup.

The event will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at the facility at 9000 Eves Road.

At the open house, the future students will tour classrooms, learn about special programs, meet the kindergarten teachers, board a yellow school bus, learn safety tips from bus drivers and enjoy a snack in the cafeteria.

The school staff will discuss the curriculum for the STEM-certified school, distribute information packets and be available to answer questions.

Anyone who needs to verify whether River Eves is their designated elementary school as a result of the recent redistricting may contact the school at 470-254-4550.

River Eves, located in east Roswell, became a STEM-certified school last fall, the first Fulton County School to achieve this designation, and has earned numerous accolades, including two Reward School Titles for Highest-Performing Title I School.
