The next installment of the concert series will be held 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 11. Food trucks — including Meatballerz, WheelyGrilly and a snow cone vendor — will be on location starting at 6 p.m.

Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina, River Whyless is a four-piece band that crafts rich songs, incorporating guitar, violin, bass, cello, and banjo with opulent vocal harmonies. They released their debut album, “A Stone, A Leaf, an Unfound Door,” in 2012, followed by a self-titled EP in 2015.

English trad-folk sounds are the band’s obvious touchstones, putting the group in a category similar to contemporaries like Fleet Foxes and Stornoway. Paste Magazine has described them as “capable of seamlessly slipping between soft, serene ballads and heart-wrenching, foot-stomping anthems at the drop of a hat.”

Riverside Sounds is a free outdoor concert series hosted each year at Riverside Park from May through October.

After the July show, there will be three remaining concerts: Aug. 1, featuring Adron; Sept. 5, featuring Monty Montgomery; and Oct. 3, featuring Get Right Band.

Riverside Park is located at 575 Riverside Road in Roswell.
