Rock Climbing With The Scouts!

Come join Pack 1818, a Jewish-themed Cub Scout pack, on June 28 for an afternoon of fun and excitement at Stone Summitt Atlanta, 3701 Presidential Pkwy, Atlanta, Ga 30340. Meet our leaders and Scouts, learn about our Scouting activities, and enjoy some rock climbing . . . beginners welcome!

First we will meet to socialize, eat and do Scout related activities. During this time we will be having activities for the kids, awarding badges, giving out bling, registering (new families) and re-registering (returning families).

Then under the supervision and guidance of the excellent staff at Stone Summitt and Ben Schulte, our former Cubmaster, we will have safety training that will include the proper way to put our equipment on, proper hand and foot placement and other important aspects of climbing to keep us safe. Then we will see a demonstration of how to climb and each climb ourselves.

Time: 11 am – 1:30 pm
Cost: $15 per climber includes food, equipment, instruction and climbing
Attire: Class B, if you are currently a Cub Scout

Dues: $125 for the year includes the handbook, all awards, badges, “bling”, Pinewood Derby cars, Raingutter Regatta model, T shirt (for new scouts) and many more things.
