Roswell 2017 Election Guide: Candidates, Polling Places, Hours

Voters will go to the polls Nov. 7 to elect a mayor, city council members and a Fulton County chairman. Here's what you need to know.

ROSWELL, GA -- Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7, and voters in Roswell and Fulton County will head to the polls to have their say in municipal and county races.

So, how do you cast your vote Tuesday in Roswell? First, you need to find your polling place. This can be done by visiting the Georgia Secretary of State's My Voter Page and entering your first initial, last name, your date of birth and choosing the county in which you reside.

The site will then provide the name of your municipal polling location and its address. Voters will be asked to provide a photo ID when voting in-person. Polls across Fulton County will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Roswell residents will have five contested races on the ballot. These citizens, as well as all Fulton County voters, will also cast ballots in the special election in fill the Fulton County chairmanship.
