Roswell Adult Aquatic Center To Close For Repairs

Ongoing mechanical issues will force the facility to close Oct. 22 through Nov. 12, the city of Roswell said.

ROSWELL, GA — An ongoing mechanical issue at the Roswell Adult Aquatic Center is forcing the city's Recreation and Parks Department to close the facility for an extended period of time.

The facility will close on Monday, Oct. 22 for repairs to the system that supports water and air temperatures. Roswell notes the repairs could take about three weeks, and there's a tentative plan to reopen the center on Monday, Nov. 12.

Roswell's Recreation and Parks Department initially planned to make the repairs over the Thanksgiving holiday; however, the most recent test of these systems revealed the malfunction was more severe than previously determined. Therefore, the city will shut down the system and expedite these repairs to avoid long-term damage to the system.
