Roswell Among Georgia's Best Suburbs To Live

ROSWELL, GA -- The city of Roswell continues to receive recognition for the exceptional quality of life its residents and stakeholders enjoy on a daily basis.

The city is among the 2017 Best Suburbs To Live In Georgia by Niche.com, an online ranking and review site. Roswell came in fifth, ranking lower than Johns Creek and Alpharetta, but higher than Milton in the top 10, respectively.

Roswell was given an overall rating of A+, with top marks in categories such as public schools, outdoor activities, good for families and health and fitness.

The report by Niche.com uses data from a number of sources, including the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Census Bureau, the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report and others.

"Roswell offers both character, history, nature and growth from the historic downtown, beautiful parks and growth in real estate development," one resident wrote in a review of the city. "(It's) full of unique restaurants with ethic flare and diversity, quaint and interesting shops, stunning parks with waterfalls, hiking and community for families enjoying life together. Schools are excellent, (and) there are many places of worship for all religions, and many activities for children and families. (The) cost of living and taxes are slightly higher than its neighboring counties."
