Roswell Arts Festival Entertainment Lineup Announced

The 50th annual event will be held Sept. 17-18 on the city's Town Square.

ROSWELL, GA -- The 50th annual Roswell Arts Festival is right around the corner, and organizers have released the acts that will provide the entertainment as you browse what vendors have to offer.

The two-day event, set for Sept. 17-18 on the city's Town Square, will feature the following blend of music and performers to accompany your shopping experience:

Saturday, Sept. 17

  • 11 a.m.: Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance – youth dance
  • noon: Atlanta Irish Music Schoo
  • 1 p.m.: Five Long Years – unique mix of blues, rock, psychedelia, and acoustic
  • 2 p.m.: Chris Jude – singer/songwriter/guitarist
  • 3 p.m.: Roswell City Dance Starz – youth dance
  • 4 p.m.: Harm’s Way – Americana, folk, blues, and more

Sunday, Sept. 18

  • 11 a.m.: Aspen Countryman – singer/songwriter
  • noon: David Payton – singer/guitarist/one-man band
  • 1 p.m.: North Fulton School of Music
  • 2 p.m.: Abbey and Dudley – acoustic duo
  • 3 p.m.: Raven and Red – bluegrass, country, and acoustic
  • 4 p.m.: Adam Komesar – simply Sinatra (a one man tribute)

Held each year during the third weekend in September, the festival features fine arts, original crafts, a fun lineup of entertainment and children’s activities capture the interests of everyone in attendance. You can also expect to see a variety of food trucks on site to satisfy your appetite. For the creatives, you can also express your artistic side by taking a turn at painting on the community canvas.

The two-day event is presented by the all-volunteer Roswell Recreation Association and raises funds for recreation and parks programs in Roswell. The association works to promote the arts as an important part of community life and raising funds for recreational needs of Roswell citizens.

Admission is free to the festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept. 18.
