Roswell Arts Festival Returns Sept. 15-16

The 52nd annual festival will be held at the Roswell Town Square.

ROSWELL, GA — The long-running, popular Roswell Arts Festival will bring a splash of color next month to the city's Town Square. The 52nd annual festival will be held Sept. 15-16, featuring two days of fine arts, original crafts and family-friendly fun.

The Roswell Arts Festival is presented by the Roswell Recreation Association, an all-volunteer group that raises funds for the city's Recreation and Parks programs. Since 1966, the Association has donated more than $1 million towards various projects in the city. Money has been used to help purchase park land, playground equipment, install spraygrounds, introduce meditative gardens and other initiatives.

Details about the festival's entertainment lineup will be rolled out in early September. However, local singers and dance companies are expected to begin performances at noon. Other activities that will be in on hand include children's painting, sand art and balloon animals, just to name a few. Of course, be sure to come with an appetite, as a number of food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your culinary cravings.
