The ceremony will get underway at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 at the station’s new location at Old Alabama Road and Market Boulevard, near the Publix shopping center.
The new 15,000-square-foot station will be situated on three acres and will replace the current Fire Station 4 location on Holcomb Bridge Road.

The building’s design is currently being finalized. The station is set to be completed by December 2016.
