This state-of-the-art indoor facility, which will be on the grounds of the center, will allow Roswell’s Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department to offer aquatic health and wellness programs primarily to participants ages 50 and up, the city noted in a press release.
The therapeutic pool will enhance and complement the existing fitness programs held at the Adult Recreation Center. Amenities include lockers, restrooms, showers and zero-depth entrance into the pool (ADA compliant). Programs such as lane walking, swimming lessons and water aerobics are just a few of the potential programs awaiting participants.

The project is $3.6 million, with costs being covered by a combination of bond referendum funds approved by Roswell voters in November 2012, and additional funds from the Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department.
