Roswell Brings Outdoor Concerts To City Hall

Music on the Hill will debut in September and October, and return for a full season from April through October in 2019.

ROSWELL, GA — The city of Roswell is rolling out another way to kick off the weekend. Roswell is launching a new, free outdoor concert series on the grounds of City Hall. Music on the Hill will make its debut this September and October, and return for a full season on the second Friday of each month April through October in 2019.

First to take the stage is recording artist Toni Byrd and her Big Band, who will present “To Natalie, With Love,” a celebration of the music of Natalie Cole, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. Byrd is the winner of 2014 Black Women In Jazz Awards for Best Black Female Jazz Record for "Autumn In New York” and was semi-finalist in the 2014 Sarah Vaughn International Jazz Vocal Competition.

Hosted by the city and sponsored by Carl Black Buick-GMC, with musical production provided by Atlanta Plays it Forward, Music on the Hill invites concert goers to experience City Hall’s beautiful tree-lined lawn in a whole new way.
