Roswell City Administrator Submits Resignation

Kay Love has served in the position since February 2007.

ROSWELL, GA -- The city of Roswell has embarked on a plan to find a new administrator to run its day-to-day operations.

That's because Kay Love has submitted her resignation to the city. In a letter dated April 17, Love tendered her resignation with "mixed emotions," and requested her last day to be May 19.

The month-long period, she added, will allow her to work on critical projects and to coordinate a transition plan with city staff.

Love previously worked for 10 years in local government financial management for Columbus-Muscogee County and another 10 years in public education financial management.

She holds an MBA and a B.B.A from Columbus State University.

"I've had the honor and privilege to work alongside the most dedicated and talented staff anywhere in local government," she said in her letter. "Their commitment to the delivery of high quality services to our citizens is inspiring and makes me proud to have been part of the team. It has been the most rewarding experience in my professional career."
