Roswell Councilman Marcelo Zapata To Run For Reelection
Roswell Councilman Marcelo Zapata has announced he will seek reelection this fall for Post 1, which he's held since 2015.

ROSWELL, GA — Roswell Councilman Marcelo Zapata recently announced his continued commitment to Roswell as he seeks reelection for Roswell City Council Post 1.
“In my second term, I will continue working for our city with the integrity, principle and ethics I have demonstrated over the past four years and ensure the community’s unheard voices are represented at City Hall,” Zapata said. “My commitment to the Roswell community is reflected in my voting record. I have brought a balance to the recently elected Council voting bloc, while protecting the character of our neighborhoods, advancing economic development, investing in public safety and public infrastructure, as well as promoting a plan for a responsible, conservative budget and millage rate.”
In his next term, Zapata said he will "continue to promote innovative ideas and creative projects to bring much-needed office, business, and a variety of commercial and recreational destinations for commercial corridors, rather than congesting them with primarily apartments.”
