Roswell Cross Country Has Impressive Season Opener
Both girls and boys team had an impressive performance and placed in their respective categories.

From Roswell Schools: The Roswell High School Girls and Boys cross country teams had an auspicious start to the 2018 season with impressive performances at the Wesleyan High School meet. The Varsity girls won the 12-team meet in impressive fashion and were lead by Seniors Mallie McKenzie and Sarah Sandreuter who placed 2nd and 3rd overall, respectively. Sarah has been an important part of Roswell cross country for four years, and this is Mallie’s first year running cross country. Roswell’s Junior Varsity (JV) girls also took first place and were paced by Junior Leah Ehrhardt who lead from the starting gun to the finish line and Lynley Blocker (3rd), Kalea Mills (5th), Maggie Stephens (8th) and Abigail Mellor (10th)
Roswell’s Varsity boys were led by Jack Rhodes who dominated the Varsity event and helped the team to a 2nd place finish with Michael Parnes who placed 9th. The boys JV team won the meet with great performances by Kendrick Wong (3rd), Henry Loving (6th), Hunter Watson (8th) and Tai Crisco (10th).

Roswell High School will be hosting the Covered Bridge Run at Garrad Landing Park in Roswell on Saturday, September 8th at 8am.
