Roswell Dance Starz Presents 'Cirquescape'

From The City of Roswell: Roswell Dance Starz, the resident dance company at Roswell Performing Arts, will be performing their Winter Concert “Cirquescape” on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. & 6 p.m. at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center located at 950 Forrest St.

The performance will tell the story of a young woman’s dream of being in the circus and will showcase talented dancers ranging in ages 7-18. The arrangement of dance styles includes hip hop, modern/contemporary, character, ballet, tap and jazz. Tickets are $12 online and can be purchased at www.tututix.com/roswelldancestarz. Tickets will also be available at the door to purchase one hour prior to the start of each show for $18.

Roswell Dance Starz is a dance company residing at Roswell Recreation & Parks. The rigorous program is designed to give talented dancers training in technique and provide experience in public performance. This pre-professional program focuses equally on technique, proficiency, and dance education along with performance quality. Company members have the opportunity to attend professional workshops, work with professional instructors and choreographers, and to attend professional concerts and performances. The company is comprised of several classes, divided by both grade level and aptitude.
