ROSWELL, GA — Polls have closed in most locations Tuesday as Election Day has come to an end. Roswell voters have cast their ballots in the 2021 municipal election.

This year, Roswell voters decided on races for mayor and city council. The Municipal General Election was held to fill the mayoral seat and Council member Posts 4, 5 and 6.

Seven candidates qualified for the city council race. Incumbents Marie Willsey, Post 4 and Matt Judy, Post 6 campaigned for re-election.

In the mayoral race, current Mayor Lori Henry faced opponents Kurt Wilson and Jason Yowell. For more information, visit mvp.sos.ga.

Unofficial Results

As the votes come in for the mayoral seat, Kurt Wilson leads with 59.16 percent of votes, followed by Lori Henry with 34.19 percent, then Jason Yowell with 6.66 percent, according to unofficial Fulton County results.

  • Matt Judy, 42.01 percent (unofficial)
