Roswell Gears Up For Family-Friendly Halloween Events

The city's Halloween Fun House will be held Oct. 23 and the Mother/Son Halloween Dance will take place Oct. 30.

This month, the city of Roswell is offering two ghoulishly fun events that will allow youngsters to get a head start on their Halloween-related activities.

The Halloween Fun House event will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 at East Roswell Recreation Center, located at 9000 Fouts Road.

This free event is open to kids ages 8 and under and will feature face painting, carnival games, inflatables, hayrides and more. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Roswell’s Mother/Son Halloween Dance will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 at the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building at Roswell Area Park.

Guests are invited to dress in costumes and enjoy dancing, music, games, prizes, refreshments, picture opportunities and more. Boys of all ages and their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, or others in mother roles are welcome.

Registration is required; the fee is $12 per person for residents and $18 per person for non-residents.
