Roswell Green Expo Returns Saturday
The 4th annual expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Hembree Park Activity Building.

Residents can learn how to go green with the city of Roswell and Keep Roswell Beautiful’s 4th Annual Roswell Green Expo, which returns to town on Saturday.
The expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 7. at Hembree Park Activity Building at 850 Hembree Road. The Green Expo’s mission is to “educate residents about environmentally responsible, sustainable practices they can incorporate into their homes and lives,” the city said in its press release.

- The Green Market, showcasing many local and regional vendors, non-profit organizations and a diverse array of environmentally friendly services and products.
- A DIY rain barrel workshop presented by Vicki Culbreth, environmental education coordinator for the city of Roswell and The Rainbarrel Depot. (Register at www.roswellgreenexpo.org)
- Favorite costumed characters, including “KiRBy” from Keep Roswell Beautiful, EcoMan, city of Roswell’s Roz the Squirrel, Captain Planet, and several native species characters from the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

And in celebration of the city of Roswell installing four electric vehicle charging stations in the coming months, we are excited to add the following sponsors and highlights to our line-up:

“The expo is a great way for residents to learn about being green while having fun, and none of it would be possible without the support of our sponsors and vendors,” said Janet Liberman, co-chair of the Roswell Green Expo and Executive Director of Keep Roswell Beautiful. “The whole event is designed to actively engage community members while teaching simple ways to be sustainable and green.
