Roswell High School Graduate Receives Legacy Lacrosse Award

Brock Lohnes received That Guy Award, given to a male goalie who embodies a competitive spirit, camaraderie and character.

The 2014 Legacy Lacrosse Cup has recognized Brock Lohnes of Roswell as the recipient of its That Guy Award.

Our That Guy Award winner is chosen by the Legacy Lacrosse Board based upon the observations of coaches and fans who recommend a male high school goalie they feel is deserving and who represents the pillars of the award: competitive spirit, camaraderie towards teammates and opponents, and character which honors the game.

Lohnes received $500 from Legacy Lacrosse Inc.

Brock Lohnes, a 2014 graduate of Roswell High, earned many honors throughout his high school lacrosse career.

He was named to the Under Armor All American Uncommitted 2014 Team and is a four-year letterman at Roswell High. The 2014 Georgia 6A Lacrosse State Championship was won on Roswell’s home turf with Lohnes serving as the goalie.

The Legacy Lacrosse Cup was established to celebrate the legacy of sixteen year old Parker Jackson a sophomore lacrosse star at Milton High School in 2006 who was killed in a single vehicle accident in 2006.

This is the seventh year for the Legacy Cup event including 1,000 high school boys and girls representing 26 championship high school lacrosse teams from across the country for a weekend of elite lacrosse games and a dinner featuring guest speaker Joe Ehrman.
