Roswell Historical Society To Host Tour Of Homes

Tickets for the 2018 tour will go on sale Saturday, Aug. 4 on the Historical Society's website.

ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Historical Society is in the midst of planning its 2018 Tour of Homes that will be held in September.

Five homes will be open to the public to marvel over from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Roswell is a city known throughout the South for its rich history and beautiful historic homes. The 2018 tour will give attendees a rare opportunity to see inside some of the new and restored historic homes that make the city so special.

Ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. Aug. 4 on the Roswell Historical Society website. Ticket prices are $30 per person in advance. If the tour is not sold out, tickets will be available the day of the tour at $35 per person. Sponsorships for this event are also being accepted. Parking and check-in will be at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center at 950 Forrest Street.

Transportation to each home will be provided by shuttles and trolleys. Established in 1971, the Roswell Historical Society is the city's oldest historic preservation organization.
