Roswell To Host Free Health, Wellness Expo

Health and wellness professionals from across north Fulton County will gather at Roswell’s free Health and Wellness Expo later this month.

The expo will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at the Roswell Adult Recreation Center.

Among the highlights of the Expo are:

• Healthy food samples from Sprouts, Costco and Sam’s Club;
• Relaxing massage;
• Hearing and vision tests;
• Posture and spinal cord evaluations performed by physical therapists and chiropractors;
• Blood pressure and bone density screenings conducted by North Fulton Hospital (In addition, the hospital will offer cholesterol and glucose screenings for $10);
• Retirement and lifelong planning information; and
• Diabetes and nutritional counseling and prevention.

In addition to exhibitors mentioned above, the Expo will feature Resurgens Orthopedics, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Roswell Nursing Home, Kaiser Permanente, Atria, Huntcliff Summit, Manor on the Square, and the Benton House, along with many others vendors.

This event is sponsored by the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic, and Cultural Affairs Department. The Roswell Adult Recreation Center is at 830 Grimes Bridge Road.
