Roswell Lavender Festival Returns June 11

ROSWELL, GA -- The 6th Annual Roswell Lavender Festival will return to Barrington Hall next month.

The free event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11, features all things lavender, including classes and demonstrations, lavender food samples, arts and crafts, antiques, food vendors, children’s activities and more.
As festival-goers arrive, they will be greeted by the Lavender Queens and given a map of event. From there, they will be set free to explore the variety of lavender-inspired activities, including:

- Children’s activities - crafts, historic games and a special visit from the Lavender Fairy;
- The Zen Zone will be devoted to the healing properties of lavender, featuring crystal bowl therapy, reflexology and aromatherapy;
- Massage sessions, outdoor yoga and Pilates classes;
- Lavender beer made especially for this event by Roswell’s own Gate City Brewing;
- Lavender-inspired food and beverage selections;
- Garden demonstrations and plant sales;
- 50+ arts, antiques and specialty vendor booths;
- Make Your Own Fairy House activity for adults and children over 10; and
- Live music from local artists with genres ranging from Americana to country to folk.
Barrington Hall is located at 535 Barrington Drive. Parking is available at Roswell Presbyterian Church, and a trolley will provide transportation between the parking lot and festival entrance.
