Roswell Lavender Festival Returns June 9
The 8th annual festival will be held on the grounds of Barrington Hall.

ROSWELL, GA — The popular Roswell Lavender Festival will return to the site of Barrington Hall this weekend, providing residents who have a love affair with this plant to come out and learn all about its uses.
The eighth-annual event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9 on the grounds of Barrington Hall at 535 Barrington Drive. The festival, according to the city, is inspired by Barrington Hall's own "lavender queen," Evelyn Simpson, a descendant of Barrington King. The event celebrates lavender and highlights its many uses, varieties and remedies derived from the plant.
Festival goers can expect to shop, eat and enjoy lavender and plant demonstrations, live music, children's activities, crafts, yoga and meditation and more. Be sure to come hungry, as a variety of food trucks will be on site offering tasty and savory treats. Food trucks that have signed on to participate include Jamaica Flavors, The Big Ketch, Chillybean Coffe Co., Paula's Zzerts, Marrakech Express, King of Pops and Gate City Brewing (will be selling custom brewed lavender beer).
