Roswell Man Dies While Visiting Hawaii Beach

ROSWELL, GA — A man from Roswell died while he was swimming at Polihale Beach in Kauai in Hawaii.

At 3:25 p.m. on June 15, Robert Boswell, 53, of Roswell, was unresponsive in the water while swimming.

Boswell's family called 911 as others pulled him to shore and performed CPR until police and fire could arrive, officials said.

Boswell was taken to Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. An autopsy is pending.
