Roswell Million-Dollar Fraud Scheme Results In 2 Arrests
Roswell police said two people operated a fraudulent business, accepting payment for goods and services not provided.
ROSWELL, GA — A monthslong investigation into a million-dollar fraudulent business scheme has led to two arrests, according to the Roswell Police Department.
Earnest "Nesto" Williams, 57, and Ericka King, 46, have both been charged on suspicion of fraud, forgery and theft charges, police said. According to authorities, King is also known as Ericka Hughley and Ericka Hughley Rothschild.
Police said they began investigating reports of fraud at a property in the 900 block of Pine Grove Road in early June.

"While their criminal acts are broad, a large portion of their efforts focused on running shell companies, many devoted to business growth, development and coaching," police said.
Williams and King are accused of luring in people with the expectancy of helping them to grow their goods, missions or life goals, police said.

The duo would receive large amounts of money in exchange for goods and services that were never provided, police said.
At least a dozen people have been identified as victims of the scheme, and the combined monetary and property loss exceeds $1 million, police said.
"There is a strong likelihood others have been taken advantage of by Williams and King, as well," police said.
Roswell authorities are seeking anyone who believe they may have been a victim of the rental fraud scheme, police said.
