Roswell Murder Suspect Faces New Charges
Jeffrey A. Hazelwood is charged killing Carter Davis and Natalie Henderson, both 17, behind a Publix grocery store.

ROSWELL, GA — The man accused of fatally shooting two teenagers behind a Publix grocery store early Monday morning in Roswell has been formally charged with murdering the pair.
Roswell police detectives have completed their interviews of Jeffrey A. Hazelwood, and have charged the 20-year-old man with two counts each of murder, aggravated assault and theft by taking. He faces an additional charge of financial transaction card fraud, the agency said.
That charge, Roswell police spokesperson Zachary Frommer said, stems from Hazelwood allegedly taking items from the victims, Carter J. Davis and Natalie Henderson, and using the girl's debit/credit card at an area gas station after the homicide.

Police have also released a photo of Hazelwood's vehicle, a silver Honda Passport, and want residents to examine the damage and silver tape on the front bumper of the car. The SUV is in custody, and investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle "in any circumstance that they found suspicious" to contact the Roswell Police Department.
The bodies of Henderson and Davis, both 17, were found around 6 a.m. Aug. 1 behind Publix at 885 Woodstock Road in Roswell.

Hazelwood will be transported to the Fulton County Jail where he will await his bond hearing.
