Roswell North Elementary Holds Annual Harvest Festival

Roswell North Elementary School’s PTA held its annual Harvest Festival on Sunday, Nov 6, from 1-5pm. Hundreds of students, families and faculty turned out to celebrate the RNE community and enjoy a day of fun and games.

Bouncy castles, obstacle courses, carnival games and a hair spray station were set up on RNE’s field behind the school. RNE’s very own DJ Dad spun tunes and the Dads Club provided homemade lemonade and popcorn. Lunch was available from The Patty Wagon and Willy's food trucks, followed by dessert from the Bake Sale and the Cake Walk.

“The Roswell North PTA and parent volunteers work tirelessly for weeks to put on a fun day for our students and this year was no exception,” said RNE Principal Maureen Lilly. “What a special day for our families and faculty to come together and collaborate on an event that is one of the highlights of the school year for many of our students.”

“RNE’s PTA is dedicated to providing opportunities for students, families and teachers to come together outside the classroom. We support enrichment events like off-site trips during the school week and fun events like the Harvest Festival outside of the normal school day,” said RNE PTA Co-President Caryn Saker. “The PTA would like to thank all the volunteers who made this event possible. We couldn’t do it without their time and energy!”
