Roswell Offers Two Easter Egg Hunts for Children

The Smith Plantation will host its annual egg hunt on Friday while a flashlight Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday.

The city of Roswell will soon host two Easter egg hunts for youngsters to enjoy.

On Friday, March 27, Smith Plantation will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt, which starts at 10 a.m., continues a long-standing tradition started by Lizzie Smith (1831-1915), who organized Easter Egg Hunts for local children in the early 20th century.

Children are invited to bring their own baskets and collect candy-filled treats. This event is open to the public and costs $5 per child, which includes participation in the event and a photo taken with the Easter Bunny.
