Roswell Officer Promoted to Detention Supervisor

Donna Vaughn will oversee the morning watch shift at the Roswell Police Department's Detention Center.

Detention Officer Donna Vaughn has been promoted to serve as detention supervisor, Roswell police announced on its Facebook page.

Vaughn began her career in law enforcement working as a dispatcher for Oklahoma City Police Department. She later transferred to the county jail in Oklahoma City where she worked on inmate classification.

Vaughn moved to Georgia in 1999 and started her career with the Roswell Police Department as a detention officer. During her tenure, she has been an officer in charge of her shift and has filled in as a temporary supervisor.

Vaughn has earned several certifications including Crisis Intervention, First Responder, Fire arms, OC and Taser.
