Roswell To Open Holiday Toy Safe-Play Areas
Specially barricaded areas in parking lots will be available from Dec. 25 through Jan. 8, 2017 at five parks and recreation centers.
ROSWELL, GA -- Will your child be unwrapping a new bike or scooter this holiday season? Do you need a safe place to try it out?
Once again, the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department will be setting up Holiday Toy Safe-Play Areas in five city parks and recreation centers.
Specially barricaded areas in parking lots will be available from Dec. 25, 2016, through Jan. 8, 2017, in these parks:

- Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road, parking lot by the football/multi-use fields
- East Roswell Park, 9000 Fouts Road, parking lot by the sprayground
- Waller Park Extension, 160 Dobbs Drive, parking lot by the playground
- Hembree Park, 850 Hembree Road, parking lot by the playground
- Waller Park Recreation Center, 250 Oak Street, parking lot by the restrooms and concession stands.
Families can bring bikes, scooters, skateboards, remote-control vehicles, and other toys that require safe, open spaces. These areas will not be staffed by the city, so adult supervision is highly recommended.
