Roswell Pastor Serves as Chaplain of the Day
Pastor Mirek Hufton of World Harvest Church served as chaplain on March 3 in the Georgia State Senate.

Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) and Lt. Governor Casey Cagle welcomed Pastor Mirek Hufton to serve as the Chaplain of the Day on Tuesday, March 3 in the Georgia State Senate.
“I was delighted to have my dear friend Pastor Hufton serve as Chaplain of the Day,” said Sen. Albers. “He inspired us to not only love our neighbors and love our state, but to also love ourselves.”

Pastor Hufton is the founder and pastor of the World Harvest Church in Roswell.
“Today we welcomed Pastor Mirek Hufton to the Senate as his passionate words of wisdom encouraged each of us to continue being humble servants of the people,” said Lt. Governor Casey Cagle. “As public servants, we are blessed to be in the position to help and serve others. We are blessed to have great leaders like Pastor Hufton and I thank him for the inspirational message.”

Hufton graduated from Kansas State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree Pastor Mirek was born in England and grew up in South Africa where his parents were missionaries. He and his wife Linda Hufton were blessed with three wonderful children: Tessa, Chris and Grace.
