Roswell Plans Annual End Of Summer Party

The city of Roswell in September will hold its 15th Annual End of Summer Celebration.

The event will take place Sept. 6 at Centennial High School.

Residents can expect music, carnival games, giant inflatables, face painting, our annual twist contest for the kids and fireworks at this family-friendly celebration.

Games and activities begin at 5:30 p.m., with The Free Byrds taking the stage at 6 p.m., followed by Back Trax at 7 p.m. A spectacular fireworks show will begin at dark. Food will be available for purchase from Shane’s Ribshack.

Proceeds from the carnival support many Centennial High School Clubs. The city’s event is sponsored by Aurora Cineplex and The Fringe, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and Fulton County Schools.

Centennial High School is located at 9310 Scott Road, and is a drug-, alcohol- and tobacco-free school.
