Roswell Residents Commissioned as Second Lieutenants in National Guard

The presentation to Jackson Henry and Richard Henry was made during graduation ceremonies at the University of North Georgia.

Roswell residents Jackson L. Henry and Richard H. Henry recently received a commendation and first set of gold bars from retired U.S. Army Col. Paul Wingo, president of the Georgia Mountain Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America.

The presentation was made during commissioning and graduation ceremonies at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. Both men were commissioned second lieutenants in the National Guard, with the swearing-in ceremony being conducted by Captain Henry, an older brother.
