Roswell’s Music On The Hill Outdoor Concert Series Returns

The City of Roswell's newest free outdoor concert series, Music on the Hill, is back on Friday, May 10, on the grounds of City Hall.

ROSWELL, GA — Are you ready for another great Friday night in Roswell? The City of Roswell’s newest free outdoor concert series, Music on the Hill, is back on Friday, May 10, on the grounds of City Hall.

Music on the Hill brings the best of the Atlanta music scene to the City Hall stage every second Friday of the month May through October. Hosted by the City of Roswell with musical production provided by Atlanta Plays it Forward, Music on the Hill invites concert goers to a enjoy a casual BYO environment where they can dine al fresco under the trees on City Hall grounds.

Taking the stage on May 10 at 7 p.m. is recording artist Toni Byrd and her Big Band. "The Velvet SongByrd" has made a name for herself touring through Europe as well as the United States. She has won numerous awards including “Best Female Jazz Record” in 2014. In addition to being a world-class vocal recording artist of jazz and gospel, Byrd is also a songwriter and TV and movie actress.

  • June 14: The Douglas Cameron Orchestra
  • July 12: Joe Gransden & His Big Band
  • August 9: Jeff Pike & A1A
  • September 13: Karla Harris
  • October 11: Bumpin' the Mango

Attendees may bring their own food and drinks, but beer and wine will also be available for purchase on-site through these vendors:

  • Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events is offering a special Music on the Hill order-ahead menu. Order online at www.RoswellMusicOnTheHill.com and pick up your gourmet boxed meal at the event.
  • Top Job Hospitality will be on site selling beer and wine. A specialty souvenir Music on the Hill wine cup will be available.
  • Ceviche Taqueria & Magartia Bar will be selling food and drinks on site.

Free parking is available at City Hall, 38 Hill Street, and free trolley service will be provided by Roswell Trolley. Trolley routes and maps are available at www.roswelltrolley.org.

Concert-goers are invited to bring lawn chairs or spread out blankets or towels on the City Hall lawn—or they can purchase a VIP table that can accommodate up to six guests. We provide the table and chairs, and you can bring your own tablecloth, place settings, and decorations to make it your own.
