Roswell School Playground Equipment Torched in Fire

The Roswell Police Department is asking anyone to come forward to help them solve a suspected arson case that occurred New Year’s Eve at an elementary School.

The agency responded to a fire at Northwoods Elementary School at 10200 Wooten Road around 2:30 a.m. Dec. 31, according to its Facebook page.

When officers arrived onto the scene, they observed playground equipment on fire. The city’s Fire Department responded, and the blaze was eventually extinguished.
