Roswell Schools To Celebrate First Successful Year
Ceremonies for Vickery Mill and Esther Jackson elementary schools are scheduled for May 2 and May 18, respectively.
ROSWELL, GA -- Throughout the month of May, Fulton County Schools’ newest facilities will dedicate their buildings to commemorate a successful first school year.
The four new schools are part of a large-scale school construction effort funded through the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, the one-penny educational sales tax approved by voters.

During each ceremony, students and faculty will describe their experience being part of their school’s inaugural class. In addition, special guests will speak and light refreshments will be served following the formal program. All students, parents and community members are invited these events.
