Roswell Sons of Norway Norskevenner Lodge Enters 3rd Year

The members of the lodge have been covering Viking and Norwegian life and doing some volunteering.

From Sons of Norway:The Sons of Norway Norskevenner Lodge enters its third year in Roswell. With the election of board members for 2019 – 2020, Norskevenner Lodge moves forward with plans to increase its membership.

The Norskevenner Lodge has a monthly meeting with a speaker or program and a potluck supper. Our presentations/entertainment in the past have covered topics such as Viking life and culture, Norway in World War II, Norwegian film showings, etc. For our members who are interested, we also do charitable work in our community. We have volunteered at North Fulton Community Charities as an example.

Membership in Sons of Norway is open to all; you do not have to be Norwegian to join. You only need a sincere desire to learn about or celebrate Norwegian heritage, history or culture. The Sons of Norway Norskevenner Lodge meets on the 3 rd Saturday of each month from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the barn activity room of Barrington Hall located at 535 Barrington Hall in Roswell, Georgia.
