Roswell Teen Reported Missing Has Been Located (UPDATED)

Salma Bounajra was reported missing Nov. 10 when she didn't show up for class at PEAK Academy.

UPDATE at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 1: On Thursday, Nov. 30, the Roswell Police Department on its Facebook page said Salma Bounajra has been located and is safe.


ROSWELL, GA -- The Roswell Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a teenager who left home Friday morning for school, but never attended classes for that day.

Salma Bounajra left her home off Holcomb Bridge Road around 8 a.m. Nov. 10 to walk to PEAK Academy at 1575 Old Alabama Road. However, the child's parents were told by the school that "she did not show up for class," Roswell police said.

Salma is 15 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs around 180 pounds. She has long black curly hair, dark brown eyes, and was last seen wearing black Adidas athletic pants with a white stripe down the sides and red Nike flip-flops, the department's Facebook page added.

She was wearing a black Nike jacket. However, police say she also has with her the jacket pictured in the photograph.
